I have been involved in music for as long as I can remember. My mother would play Metallica and Motley Crue in the car, and my head became a cymbal on the drum set that was her steering wheel. As I got older, I found myself obsessed with bands like Good Charlotte and Linkin Park. I used to take my Walkman on the bus with my gigantic CD case and blare the music so loud that all the kids would hear it, as well as my squabbling to imitate the singers. I got a guitar early in my life and would hack around for a couple of years but I was insanely inspired when I started playing Guitar Hero. I decided to do more than just hack and started learning as much as I could via YouTube and guitar tabs online. I fell in love with bands like Slipknot, Bullet for My Valentine, and Trivium around this time. Getting into high school, I formed a couple of different bands, but nothing ever really stuck, and I always struggled to find a vocalist who could do what I was aiming for sound-wise. As some of my bands started playing shows, I started feeling trapped behind my guitar on stage and decided to start teaching myself heavier vocal techniques. I started listening to bands like Asking Alexandria, Crown The Empire, and Bring Me The Horizon. At 19 I would jam with a couple of friends that would soon become the first version of Stories Through Storms, and I haven't looked back since. Music is my everything.

I first got into music thanks to my mom and cousin, who always had grunge, metal, and hip-hop playing around the house. But the moment that really lit the spark for me was the Tom Morello guitar battle in Guitar Hero 3. Hearing those wild, unorthodox sounds and realizing that kind of creativity was possible on the guitar made me want to learn for real. I started out playing punk, and then I met Storm in high school. We became best friends, and he introduced me to metal bands like Bullet for My Valentine and Slipknot. Not long after, he started a band called Fall Through and asked me to join on bass. I didn’t even know how to play yet, but I picked it up fast by studying players like Flea and Victor Wooten and mixing it with what I already knew about guitar. After Fall Through ended and I moved to Texas, I spent time playing acoustic rock and refining my style. When I moved back to Kansas, Storm had started Stories Through Storms and brought me on to play bass again. That version of the band eventually ended too, and I focused on becoming a journeyman electrician. When I topped out, the timing lined up, Storm was bringing STS back, but this time he needed a lead guitarist. That was the role I’d been waiting for. It’s been great to return with a clearer direction and more experience. I’ve always believed in what Storm’s building and the energy behind this band, and I’m proud to be a part of it.

I started playing guitar when I was 8 but I had a love for music since I was little. My family would always catch me singing along with songs in the car. When I did start playing guitar, I found that it helped me through a lot of rough times in my childhood. I obsessed over music and guitar; I would find anyway in school to relate music or guitar playing into my classes. I grew up with a love of classic rock-loving bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, to bands like Three Days Grace and Slipknot. As I grew older, I found myself loving performing, even just me singing and playing acoustic guitar. I would learn covers and just be constantly playing around the house. Once I graduated high school, I moved to LA and attended Musician’s Institute from 2016 to 2018. There I furthered my guitar abilities and fully solidified my love for performing. After graduating from MI, I started working on releasing my own solo music. 2019 marked the start of my career when I released my first solo single. I worked endlessly on my solo stuff until I met Storm and joined Stories Through Storms in 2022.

I grew up being a fan of all different styles of music but never had the intention of playing or performing. I was solely focused of sports (basketball and baseball) from the age of 7 until around 20. I bought my first acoustic guitar at around 12 to have a hobby other than sports, not knowing that it would change the course of my future. I immediately fell in love with the Instrument and the challenges that came with learning on my own. Although I was still primarily focused on a future in sports, I joined my first band in 2007. It was with that band, that I started to shift my focus from sports to music. I loved everything about it: the camaraderie, playing, writing, and performing. Something about being on a stage got me hooked. From there, I played in a couple of other bands before getting a huge opportunity from a band called Makeshift Prodigy in 2011. I met the band at an open mic I was hosting at the time and had no idea they were from the same town as me. They had recently signed with Atlantic Records, and they were looking for a new bassist. I was able to audition and was selected to join the band. I was able to tour extensively for the better part of 4 years and play some of the largest music festivals in the country(Lollapalooza, Summerfest, etc.) Fast forward to 2019, I had settled into nontouring life. I was still playing, writing, and recording on my own and with other bands. In the midst of that, I had discovered Stories Through Storms. They were looking for a touring bassist and Storm and I connected. I went on the Midwest DeTour in the spring and created a strong friendship with Storm. Keeping in touch throughout the years and following eachother's music journey as we matured creatively and emotionally. Storm and Timmy had already started revamping STS and I was sent some of the songs to listen to. I loved the direction things were going in and Storm asked me if I wanted to be a part of this journey and I do not regret it for a second. This has truly been the rebirth of my musical career.
